Fence staining and sealing
Staining a fence is not as straight forward as one might think. There are many small details to consider when tackling a fence staining project, such as properly covering plants and vegetation, and ensuring that opposite sides of the fence aren't stained.
Using a high quality stain for your wooded fence especially if you intend on planting flowers and trees in front of it is very important. Though all stains will eventually fail and require future maintenance, there are many products on the market that simply outlast others. Often times, fences will be neglected because the plants around the wood are simply too big, so protecting the fence for as long as possible is key. This is achieved by using different applications along with top quality products.

Is it necessary to protect both sides of the fence?
This is a very popular question. Often times people will ask us to stain just one side of the fence. This does add some protection to the wood, however, the result is that the fence is still only half protected. Exposed wood vulnerable to UV rays and high moisture will discolour and be most noticeable in a very short time period.
