Most hardwoods installed on the siding of a home are likely 1 1/4 inches thick. Considering that any high UV exposed areas require annual applications, annual sanding will weaken the wood after 5-8 years. We have eliminated this concern with many new developments and products that can achieve a fabulous appearance without the need for sanding.
For the past 10 years, we have been developping our own blends of specialized cleaners and other products, with very specific purposes. We are able to restore hardwoods quite effectively with little or no sanding what so ever. This has been not only in the development, but also tested and proven on many of our projects. Clients are thrilled at what we can achieve with no sanding. Also, many of our products are 100% enviro certified and even COSMOS worthy.

The distinctive appearance of Spanish Cedar makes any home stand out from the rest. Typical hardwood oil is not worthy of this kind of lumber. For these projects, we custom blend our own colours using very specific oils that make the wood pop.

Brazilian Ipe has a very strong resilience to mother nature. Over the years, we have observed many different garden structures built with Ipe.
People often ask what types of oils we use and how often they are required. With some exceptions, traditional hardwood oils always provide the richest appearance and are the best solution. We have used just about every product out there an aside from appearance, there are many other considerations with wood treatments. Application effort, curing times or environment are just a few examples. Although applying smelly oils can be a tedious task, in our opinion, everyone is always very satisfied with the wood appearance compared to water based and other hybrid hardoowd treatments. So we do always try to find the right balance of aesthetics and costs for each unique project.
